Poseidon
Just now i have just gone to the cinema again with my parents and bro... We went to watch the movie " Poseidon" and we were actually given a big screen cinema... 4th time i've watched a movie this year but it's the first time of the year i've gone into the big screen threater...
Basically, i've heard alot of rumor that this movie is a remake from the movie "The Poseidon Adventure" initally, i do not know if it's the remake but after i've read this website, i then know it's not really true at all...
However the author of that post is criticising the films... Which i only agree to some parts... Cos my first reaction when the movie had just started was "why does the ship look so fake" thats how i felt, in the first place, it's really seems so fake.
Actually i think there are some things that are not taken into notices. Cos from what we learn water is a good conductor of electricity, does it also mean that saltwater is also a good conductor of electricity? Then how come those few survival doesnt get electrocuted with so many bare wires around...
However, i'm really so engrossed into the movie so much that i didnt really drink or even eat any popcorn... So how, i just feel that most of the part of the movie is a CLIMAX. Cos it's so exciting almost 3/4 of the movie, the feeling just keeps coming and coming...
For me to rate this movie i think i would give a seven or eight out of ten...
P.S I cannot imagine if one day this happen to a cruise ship that is sailing... Cos it's too scary. I just hope that this day will never ever come though i know the 100++ feet waves does exists. Or maybe us human can overcome this natural disaster. Imagine the waves coming to shore... The destruction force will be unimaginable !!!
